Rare Thoughts from LHS

Whilst reading a biography of Arshille Gorky, I came across this quote about him by Peggy Osbourne:

“He was a solitary and single human being. He was never meant to belong to a crowd. He needed the crowd for his own confirmation. He was a noble human being with noble ideas about life, old fashioned. He tried very hard to fit himself into a thing where he didn’t belong.”

Sounds familiar.

Any thoughts?
